Miriam is professionally certified in clicker training. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, they specialize in reducing fear, anxiety and stress for animals in home, shelter, rescue and veterinary settings.
Education:
Miriam graduated from Irvine Valley College in 2018 with an Associate’s Degree in Psychology. They were an active member of Psi Beta, and graduated Magna cum Laude with Honors.
After earning their degree, Miriam attended CalVoices’ WISE U program, where they learned to support individuals in recovery from mental illness and/or addiction.
In 2023, Miriam completed the Karen Pryor Academy’s Dog Trainer Professional course and earned their first professional dog training certification. Shortly after, they earned their second certification from Fear Free Pets.
